Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with MOTORCYCLE YAMIYA.
Please carefully review our refund and return policy before placing an order.
1. Order Cancellation
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement, provided shipment preparation has not yet begun.
To request a cancellation, please contact us immediately through our contact form or email.
Once shipment preparation or shipping has started, cancellations cannot be accepted.
2. Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns or exchanges only under the following circumstances:
- You received an incorrect item;
- The product arrived damaged;
- The product is defective due to manufacturing issues.
Customers must contact us within 7 days of delivery before returning any item.
Unauthorized returns sent without prior contact may be refused or returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless required by applicable law:
- Opened or used products
- Installed motorcycle parts
- Custom-made or special-order products
- Personalized products
- Clearance, outlet, or sale items
- Products marked as non-returnable
- Products damaged by customer misuse or improper handling
- Items returned more than 7 days after delivery
In addition, products with item numbers beginning with:
- “OT” (treasure/special items)
- “OL” (outlet items)
cannot be returned or exchanged for customer convenience.
4. Return Shipping Costs
If the return is due to our error, including:
- incorrect shipment,
- defective products, or
- shipping damage,
we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
For returns requested for customer convenience, the customer is responsible for:
- return shipping fees,
- original shipping charges,
- customs duties,
- taxes, and
- any related handling fees.
5. Refused Deliveries / Failed Deliveries
If a package is returned to us due to:
- refusal of delivery,
- long-term absence,
- incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, or
- failure to complete customs procedures,
the customer will be responsible for:
- round-trip shipping costs,
- customs charges,
- carrier handling fees, and
- cash-on-delivery fees (if applicable).
Refunds may be reduced accordingly.
6. International Orders
Customers are responsible for confirming import regulations and compatibility requirements in their country before ordering.
We are not responsible for:
- customs delays,
- import restrictions,
- seized shipments,
- local registration issues, or
- incompatibility with local vehicle regulations.
Import duties, VAT, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.
7. Product Compatibility
Customers are solely responsible for verifying compatibility of parts with their motorcycle before purchase.
We strongly recommend professional installation by a qualified mechanic.
We are not liable for damage, loss, or injury caused by:
- improper installation,
- incorrect application,
- modification,
- racing use, or
- misuse of products.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
Unless otherwise stated, products are sold “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
If a manufacturer warranty exists, the manufacturer’s warranty terms shall apply.
Except where prohibited by law, MOTORCYCLE YAMIYA disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Please allow several business days for processing depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
Shipping fees, payment processing fees, and customs charges may be non-refundable unless required by law.
